A Tulsa soldier and mother returns to Green Country and gets to hold her children for the first time in nine and a half months.

With flags, flowers and hugs, Sergeant Bobbie Vasquez's entire family welcomed her home at Tulsa International Airport Tuesday afternoon.

Vasquez is a helicopter engine mechanic who also provides ground support for other troops when needed. She's home from Iraq for 18 days and she has plans.

"I am going to be doing absolutely nothing for 18 days. I want to go grocery shopping. That is for sure. And I want to eat a steak. I want to take my kids to school," said Sgt. Bobbie Vasquez, US Army.

This is Sgt. Vasquez's second tour of duty in Iraq. She has one more left before she can come home for good.
