MIAMI (AP) - Tropical Storm Iselle has gained a little strength as it swirls Thursday off Mexico's southern Pacific coast.

According to the National Hurricane Center in Miami, the storm's maximum sustained winds have increased to near 45 mph, a slight increase from when the storm formed Wednesday. But little change in strength is expected over the next few days.

At 5 a.m. EDT Thursday, Iselle's center was located about 300 miles west-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and about 375 miles south-southeast of the southern tip of Baja California, Mexico.

The storm is moving toward the west-northwest near 10 mph.
