Many of us have dreamed about living in the lap of luxury, but few of us have ever seen it up close. News On 6 reporter Rick Wells stopped by the Reichert Celebration Horse Show out at Expo Square to take a look at the newest thing in luxury accommodations for you and your horses.

One way to get you and your horses to a show is a big truck pulling a long, long trailer, but how about something a little more up-scale. Actually there are accommodations for six people and six horses.

This is an Equine Motorcoach horse transport; it's new in the U.S., much more common on the European horse show circuit.

In the back up to six horses travel in air conditioned comfort

"We have two security cameras you can see from the driver's compartment," said Bob Wiegand of Equine Motorcoach. "Comes complete with all your towels, monogrammed towels and monogrammed bath robes."

The Equine Motorcoaches are manufactured in Hungary and folks who've seen it like what they see.

They come equipped with satellite TV and all the extras.

"While you are traveling down the road you watch TV, watch movies, or you can play Xbox," said Wiegand.

Waterford crystal, Sheffield stainless flatware and hand painted Hungarian china are also standard equipment. It has a 485 horse power diesel engine.

"And it has what they call an I-shift 12-speed automatic transmission," said Wiegand.

It gets about seven and a half miles per gallon. There are lots of conveniences and plenty of storage for both horse and rider.

It can be had for about a million bucks.

The Equine Motorcoach is on display outside the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex near the Pavilion through Sunday.
