Stimulus Checks Still Unclaimed

For thousands of Oklahomans, their stimulus check is still not in the U.S. mail.

About 80,000 Oklahomans have not claimed their stimulus checks approved by Congress this year. Those checks total nearly $24 million.

The IRS wants people to file for the rebate checks by October 15th, to make sure they'll be sent out this year.

If anyone who is eligible doesn't claim their payment this year, they will still be able to next year.
