Oklahoma Lt. Governor Jari Askins is asking northeastern Oklahomans to support the troops at the Yellow Ribbon Military Reintegration Workshop.

The program helps service members' families, employers and communities deal with an upcoming deployment or return from a deployment.  The program is offered by the Oklahoma Army National Guard and is open to all branches.

"They will hear speakers dealing with PTSD.  They will hear speakers talk about health care benefits.  They will hear speakers talk about, just changes that family members should begin to recognize and be prepared for," said Lt. Gov. Jari Askins.

The workshop will be Saturday, August 9th, at Asbury United Methodist Church.  It begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m.  Childcare will be provided, along with lunch.

Those wanting to attend can register by calling 1-866-649-6031 or online.
