A homeless man is dead and officials say the heat is to blame.
EMSA treated more than a dozen people for heat-sickness this weekend. The extreme temps proved deadly after an unidentified homeless man was found dead near 11th and Denver.
"There's indications that the body has been moved since this happened. Some pockets are emptied, just a lot of unanswered questions along that line," said Tulsa Police Cpl. Josh Martin.
EMSA officials say he had visible signs of heat-related illness.
They say the man appears to be in his 30's.
He's the second victim in as many days to die from the oppressive heat. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 76-year-old Pat Bunch died on Saturday of heat exhaustion while driving a tractor north of Lonewolf in Kiowa County.
Bunch's family members though say they believe a pre-existing condition may have contributed to his death.
