Home Severely Damaged In Fire

Crews responded to a house fire around 4 a.m. on Sunday. The Tulsa Fire Department battled flames in a home located in the 400 block of South Troost. One person was inside the home and made it out safely before crews arrived.

When firefighters got to the scene, the home had heavy flames shooting from the east side of the home. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to the other side of the home.

The house sustained severe fire damage, burning most of the front of the home.

Crews are investigating the cause of the fire, but believe it started in the living room.

The Red Cross was called to the scene.

No one was injured.
