Oklahoma lost more than 15,000 jobs in the last seven years. That's according to a study by the Economic Policy Institute, which blames the situation on the U.S. trade deficit with China.
Members of the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance say job losses during the time studied were caused by manufacturers moving their production overseas.
Industry experts say Oklahoma manufacturing jobs are now growing again after declining in the first five years of the decade.
