New Pedestrian Bridge Ready

One of the most visible upgrades to Tulsa's RiverParks Trail is ready to be installed.  It's a new bridge over Crow Creek at 31^st and Riverside.

The new span is much larger than the current pedestrian bridge.  In fact, it's wide enough to continue the park's new dual-trail system, designed to ease congestion for pedestrians and cyclists.

The bridge should be installed in the next couple of weeks.  It was paid for by grants, the third-penny sales tax and a donation from the Kaiser Family Foundation.
