TPS Top Job Could Be Filled By Next Week

The search for a new Tulsa Public School superintendent could be nearing an end. 

The Tulsa School Board meets Monday evening and could vote to offer the job to Keith Ballard. 

Ballard currently serves as the Oklahoma State School Boards Association director and says he's interested in the position. 

If hired, he would replace current Tulsa Public Schools superintendent Dr. Michael Zolkoski, who plans to resign soon.  

Ballard's resume includes superintendent stops at Claremore and Oologah.
