Transformer Knocks Out Power To 8,000

A power outage affected residents in South Tulsa this afternoon between 51st and 71st, from Peoria to Lewis. PSO says it affected about 8,000 homes in the area. Some stoplights in the area were out also.

Public Service Company reports a transformer failure caused the outage.
