The Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission auctioned off 40 horses on Saturday. OSU had been caring for the hoses since they were seized when police raided an illegal racing operation near Thackerville last July.
Saturday's auction raised more than $190,000. The state will use the money to pay OSU for the horses' care.
