Woman Pleads Guilty To Arson

A woman accused of trying to set fire to her mobile home while her granddaughter was inside has pleaded guilty.

The incident happened at the Piney River Trailer Park just west of Perkins.

Thirty-seven-year-old Jonna Rae Murrell is charged with fourth degree arson. Her attorney says she was drunk at the time of the incident.

A Payne County court record show Murrell has a history of mental illness but was found competent to face an arson charge.
