A former Tulsa police officer whose conspiracy conviction was overturned will not be jailed leading up to his retrial in August.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A former Tulsa police officer whose conspiracy conviction was overturned will not be jailed leading up to his retrial in August.

Terms of 43-year-old Rico Yarbrough's bond allow him to remain free and pay a $50,000 bond only if he were to flee before his second trial on August 18th.

Yarbrough's conviction for helping a crime suspect was overturned by an appeals court.
