There are new details about a man accused of carjacking a van and sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl inside. The News On 6 obtained protective orders filed against 25-year-old Brandon Brixey filed in 2007 and in 2008.

As News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports, one was filed by his own mother. They suggest a pattern of threats and violence.

Brandon Brixey is still behind bars on Monday. He faces kidnapping, robbery and rape charges. Police say he admitted stealing a car last week with three children inside and sexually assaulted the oldest of the three, an 8-year-old girl.

A search of court records show this is not the first time Brixey, an East Central graduate, has been accused of violence.

His own mother filed a protective order against him last November, saying he refused to let her leave her home or even use the bathroom for three and a half hours.

She wrote in part, "Brandon... grabbed me... slammed me against the wall, choked me and promised me that he would kill me next time if I didn't keep my mouth shut."

She also said a few weeks earlier, Brandon "held me at gun point to my head for 30 minutes."

Afterward, a judge ordered Brandon out of his mother's home and to leave her alone for three years.

A woman who was convicted of drug and gun felonies with Brixey in 2007, had filed a protective order against him in 2006 that said in part, Brandon was "pushing on me and screaming at me and spitting in my face.... he said he's a real thug and I don't know who I'm messing with."

She filed another one against him a month after their convictions that said in part, Brandon "called my mom and told my mom he was going to cut my neck in front of her and then kill her."

He was charged with violating the protective order last week. He was convicted of the very same crime just two months ago.

Broken Arrow police tell The News On 6 they are still looking at Brixey in connection with the unsolved sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl in that city last fall. They have served some search warrants and are getting help from an outside agency.

Records show Brixey listed an address not far from where that victim was dropped off at the time of the crime. Plus, many people say Brixey closely resembles the sketch of the suspect in that case. Also, the attacks are similar in nature.

However, detectives say it's too soon to know if Brixey is a solid suspect in that case.
