It's Time To Start Lacing Up To Race For The Cure

The 12th annual Komen Tulsa Race for the Cure® will take place at CityPlex Towers adjacent to the beautiful campus of Oral Roberts University. Over 10,000 participants are anticipated at this year's event which is open to everyone who wants to help put an end to breast cancer. 

There will be plenty of family-friendly activities and events for serious runners, casual runners, walkers and supporters. Our route is sanctioned by the USATF and will take you along the scenic Arkansas River around River Parks.

Opening ceremonies will take place near the starting line approximately half way between Lewis and Delaware off of 81st Street. The Komen Tulsa Race for the Cure® enables us work toward fulfilling our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all, and energizing science to find the cures. 

Up to 75 percent of the net income raised by the Affiliate supports local granting efforts to further breast cancer education, screening and treatment for the uninsured and medically underserved in Tulsa County. The remaining 25 percent of the net income is contributed to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Research Grant Program.
