Corvette Owners Revving Their Engines

Corvette lovers and their cars are in Tulsa on Saturday evening, as part of the 49th Annual Corvette Clubs Convention. The convention takes place all week at the Marriott Hotel located at 71st and Lewis.

There will be banquets, car shows and drag racing at Tulsa Raceway Park. On Friday, they're raffling off a new Corvette, to benefit the National Kidney Foundation.

"We have approximately a little over 18,000 members across the country. And so, we do have an annual convention each year. It's planned two years in advance," said Debbie Lindsey with Corvette Clubs.

The Tulsa/Oklahoma City group bid on the convention a few years ago and got the bid. The event draws hundreds of people from across the nation.
