There are new cases in the nationwide salmonella tomato scare. Several people in New York are now in the hospital.
But, there is good news about Oklahoma tomatoes. Oklahoma is now on the FDA's list of states not associated with the current salmonella outbreak. That means it's safe to buy locally grown produce.
Health workers warn there could still be some tainted tomatoes in grocery stores. There have been more than 230 cases of salmonella poisoning, across 23 states and one possible related death in Texas.
Thousands of restaurants and retailers throughout the nation have taken the raw tomatoes off their shelves.
