Two Homes Destroyed By Fire

A pair of house fires kept firefighters busy overnight. 

A home in Oakhurst in Creek County was destroyed in an overnight fire. Flames shot through the home as firefighters arrived around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire crews from Oakhurst, Berryhill and Sapulpa were called in to fight the fire. The house was vacant and no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

And Tulsa firefighters battled another house fire in the 3700 block of North Lansing shortly before 6 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters knocked down towering flames.

No injuries reported.

Fire officials considered the home a total loss.
