A team of hand-picked community leaders met for the first time Monday night to chart Tulsa's future. It's part of the PLANiTULSA initiative. Business owners, city leaders, and concerned citizens are building a master plan for Tulsa's next 30 years.
"This is giving the community: the big people, the small people, the big companies, the small companies, to put out what they feel to be the needs and a lot of answers come out of this in different ways," said Linda Fitzgerald with the Southwest Tulsa Chamber.
The meetings are open to anyone, and everyone's encouraged to give their input. More workshops are planned to hear Tulsans' opinions throughout the entire city.
