Squeegees Used After Roof Collapses

Heavy rains caused the roof to collapse at a south Tulsa business overnight.

An employee found the mess at the Tulsa Eye Clinic at 7171 South Yale when arriving for work Monday morning.

Tulsa Fire crews helped squeegee and sweep out water and insulation to stop it from going into other parts of the building.

The building has a flat roof.

Fire officials remind people to make sure their gutters are clean.  They also say you should have someone inspect your roof, especially flat ones, to be sure water has a place to go.
