A 53-year old Wyoming resident was injured in a Thursday morning traffic accident when his vehicle crashed into a heat exchanger west of Mannford.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Scott Holt was driving eastbound on state Highway 51 when his H2 Hummer crossed over the center line of state Highway 51 and struck a westbound  oversized load.  The driver of the Hummer was trapped for 50 minutes before rescue crews could free Holt.

OHP troopers say Holt apparently fell asleep at the wheel resulting in the Creek County accident.

The driver of the semi carrying the oversized load was not injured.  Holt was listed in fair condition at a Tulsa hospital.
