A disaster recovery center will be opening in Pittsburg County on Thursday, June 5.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and the U.S. Small Business Administration says the center will be located in the Stipe Community Center at 801 North 9th Street in McAlester.
Officials say the center will provide opportunities for residents to meet face-to-face with representatives from state and federal agencies.
The center will only be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
