Heavy Rain Closes Public Pool

The Nienhuis Aquatic Facility in Broken Arrow was closed on Monday, Memorial Day for emergency maintenance. 

Broken Arrow officials say heavy rains early Monday have made the pool unsafe for swimming.

Officials say residents were urged to use the Family Aquatic Center, located in Central Park at 1400 S. Main or Country Aire Park's pool at 100 N. Fir until the Nienhuis Aquatic Facility is re-opened. 

The Nienhuis Aquatic Facility is located at 3201 North 9th Street.
