Operation Lifesaver

Operation Lifesaver is in effect. 

The team effort by Tulsa Police and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad rewarded good behavior at various railroad crossings with goodie bags.  They say it was all to remind drivers about the dangers present when a train meets another vehicle.  

"You don't win in a fight with a train.  A train is always going to win, unfortunately," said Tulsa Police officer Craig Murray. 

Police officers say they were at several locations around Tulsa throughout the day on Friday.
