A Tulsa elementary school got a big honor on Sunday. Celia Clinton Elementary received the Exemplary Reading Program Award for Oklahoma.

The International Reading Association presented the award at its annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.

Celia Clinton's principal says it's an "adopt-a-school" partner, Rotary Club of Tulsa, helped make this possible.

The club helps mentor and tutor students and over the years it's donated close to a thousand books.
