Possible Drunken Driver Hits Pedestrian

A woman is recovering on Sunday morning after being hit by a possible drunken driver. Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say a man was driving his truck in the 500 block of South 49th West Avenue around 1:30 a.m. when he hit a woman in the roadway.

Police arrested the driver for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol. Police say the woman may have been intoxicated as well.

EMSA transported the woman to the hospital. She is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
