A Green Country elementary school is celebrated its 100th birthday on Friday. Park Elementary was built in 1908, after the Creek Indian Nation donated land to the community of Red Fork in West Tulsa.

The building has been remodeled four times, most recently in 1972.

Students, teachers, families and alumni held a birthday celebration at the school. Some former students traveled all the way from North Carolina and Kansas just for the birthday party.
