Drinking+Driving+Texting=Accident

Alcohol, driving and texting leads to a two vehicle accident overnight which shuts down Interstate-244 in Tulsa.  

The accident happened about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday when the driver of a car hit a pickup truck.  The car wound up in the middle of the highway and the truck on its side. 

The driver of the car told Tulsa Police officers, he had had a few drinks and was text messaging when he hit the truck.  That driver was taken to a Tulsa hospital, but later released. 

Police say the driver of the pickup truck had also been drinking, he was not seriously hurt.

Police continue to investigate.
