Lyrics On The Lawn Raising Money For Day Center

Tulsans gathered at Owen Park at 560 North Maybelle Street for some food, fun, and great music on Sunday night.  It was the 6th annual "Lyrics on the Lawn" fundraiser.  All the money goes to Tulsa's Day Center for the Homeless.

The Day Center provides medical care, shelter and resources to about 500 people every day.

"We work really hard on getting people jobs and in their own housing. So, we're not just sheltering, we're really helping 'em get out and get what they need to do," said Day Center Associate Director Mack Haltom.
