Green Country Gets A Little Greener

Green Country just got a little greener on Sunday.  People gathered in Centennial Park near 6th and Peoria for Festival Earth. There was a little something for everyone and everything was environmentally friendly.

A tent was set up full of information on local companies offering leading-edge green products.  People also checked out fuel-efficient vehicles and scooters.

Organizers say they just wanted to let Tulsans know there are a lot of ways to go green.

"Changing out one light bulb is a huge step; starting to recycle your plastic bottles is a huge step. So, that's what we're hoping to do more of here in the Tulsa community," said Renda Broadcasting Marketing Director Kelly Fiddner.

Organizers hope to make Festival Earth an annual event.
