A 17-year old Wagoner teen was shot and killed late Thursday in what authorities are calling a "tragic accident."
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Justin Freeman was struck in the head by a bullet accidentally discharged from an automatic pistol. OSBI spokesperson Jessica Brown says the incident happened after 11 p.m. Thursday at a Wagoner home.
Wagoner Police Chief Terry Hornbuckle say the incident took place in one of the home's bedrooms as the pistol was being moved across a bed.
Hornbuckle called the shooting "a tragic accident," and he doesn't expect any charges to be filed.
