It was all about being Fearless and Female on Saturday at a Broken Arrow Church. Cindy Coughenour, of California, made a stop at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church to give women a lesson in self-defense.
Coughenour physically showed her audience how to fight off a predator. She also encouraged women to always make eye contact and run away whenever your instincts tell you something isn't right.
Coughenour started training in self-defense in college, after her lifetime friend was murdered in the basement of her dorm.
"At the same time I was living in Wichita, Kansas we had the infamous BTK Murderer and everyone was just scared to death. And I realized I had no idea how to take care of myself," said Coughenour.
