Gimme the Mike! Auditions

Calling all singers! Gimme the Mike! auditions are underway at Woodland Hills Mall, in the Dillard's courtyard, lower level. The News On 6 and CW12/19 are looking for the best local amateur vocalist.

Auditions started at 10:00 Saturday morning and last until 6:00 p.m. Auditions are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so arrive early.

You must be at least 18-years-old to compete. All you will need to bring is a photo ID. You will be required to fill out a release form, allowing The News On 6 to use your likeness without compensation.

The winners will be notified and their names will be posted on NewsOn6.com by May 1, 2008.

Gimme the Mike! will air Monday evenings at 7 p.m. CST on The News On 6 from July 7, 2008 to August 11, 2008. The finale will air Monday, August 18, 2008.
