Sea Lion Event Set At The Zoo

The Tulsa Zoo wants you to come out and meet Briney and Dorsey this weekend.  That's when the zoo's having its big "Sea Lion Splash" fundraising event, which benefits the California Sea Lion exhibit.

Thousands of miniature rubber sea lions will be released into the zoo's sea lion exhibit.   Each little lion will have a number that could add up to big prizes for a lucky guest. 

Proceeds from ticket sales will help fund a new, improved sea lion exhibit.  Construction for the exhibit is set to break ground in 2009.
