Some Tulsa kids got a lesson in the Japanese art of Origami on Thursday. About 30 students from Japan are in Tulsa. They're also learning about our culture.
The students are from Tulsa's sister city, Utsunomiya. They spent Thursday at Lee Elementary. But have been going to all different schools the past three days.
The students leave Friday morning and have apparently left a good impression.
"We like the same colors, we like the same dogs, everybody likes kung-fu panda apparently and we have a lot in common," said art teacher Elizabeth Martin.
Later this year, Martin and her daughter will head to Japan for 10 days as part of the exchange program.
