Marx Award Presented To The News On 6

A big honor was received by The News On 6 from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on Thursday.

The News On 6 was given the Jerry Marx Memorial Award in the television category for exemplary reporting of traffic safety.  It's a great honor and we're very appreciative.

The Trooper of the Year Award was also presented to Lieutenant Brian Sturgill from Harrah and Trooper Joe Howard from Shawnee for their rescue of a Kingfisher couple last year during the flooding.
