Driver Sought Following Accident

Tulsa Police are searching for a driver involved in an overnight traffic accident. 

The accident happened around 1:40 a.m. Thursday at 31st and Urbana.  Tulsa Police say the driver of a van made a legal u-turn on 31st street.  The problem is the driver of the van did not see the black Mazda coming in the opposite direction. 

The van and car collided and the van driver ran off. 

One person in the Mazda was taken to a Tulsa hospital for treatment. 

Police officers believe the drivers of both vehicles and their passengers had been drinking.
