Driver Sought After Accident

Tulsa Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who ran right into a tree overnight.  

Police officers say the driver pulled out of an apartment complex at 31st and Lakewood around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.  The pickup truck smacked the tree and destroyed the vehicle.  The driver hasn't been seen since.

In an unrelated incident, a trash truck operator got quite a surprise when a fire breaks out in his vehicle overnight in Broken Arrow. 

It happened at Parklane Elementary School. 

Authorities say the truck apparently picked up something at the school that got caught in the exhaust on top of the truck.  That sparked a fire that gutted the cab. 

The driver was not hurt.
