Kevin Boggs and Dennis Troyer

Incumbant candidate Dennis Troyer is a Democrat running for Tulsa City Council District 6.  The 67-year-old is a retired machinist from American Airlines.  He has resided in the district for 26 years.

Troyer's civic involvement includes membership in the East Tulsa Prevention Coalition, Tulsa Run Club and Tulsa Veterans Council.  He is a Navy veteran who has lived in East Tulsa for 26 years.

Kevin Boggs, a Republican, has been employed by Federal Express for 22 years.  He is an on-road manager who has previously worked as courier and in radio and communications repair.  Civic service volunteering as a soccer coach and working as a referee. 

Boggs has resided in District 6 for four years.  This is his first run for public office.  He and his wife have three children.
