A fire at a local machine shop overnight on Friday caused damage throughout. The Sapulpa Fire Department responded to a call from an alarm company about a fire at Memorial Machine Company located at 6300 South 40th West Ave around 4 a.m.

The fire was confined to a small area, but did cause smoke damage throughout the building.

The cause is under investigation.
