Officer Involved In Crash Resigns

An off-duty car crash will cost a Tulsa cop his job.  Ron Jordan quit the force on Monday and will never be able to wear the badge again.

His police cruiser was speeding down Highway 75 when he rear-ended another car in September near 196^th Street South.  The other driver had minor injuries.

The department was preparing for termination hearings when Jordan resigned.  They say he broke four department rules, including misusing his squad car.
