Authorities are crediting a motorist assist program with a fast response to a traffic accident on the Turner Turnpike near Kellyville Monday morning.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a motorist was westbound on the turnpike when her vehicle left the roadway, went down a hill, under a fence, across the pasture and through a creek before coming to a stop.
A Creek County Sheriff's deputy was able to quickly respond to the accident because of the motorist assist program in the car.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol also responded to the scene. Troopers say the driver of the car will be okay.
