Man Pleads Guilty To Killing Toddler

A Tulsa man admits killing a 17-month-old boy during an argument with the child's mother. 

Tulsa Police say 37-year-old Eric Rentie was arguing with the boy's mother, Marva Alexander, when he pulled a gun and fired into Alexander's car in June 2005.  The bullet hit Deontae Alexander, who was strapped in his car safety seat. 

Eric Rentie pleaded guilty in Tulsa County District Court to one count of 2nd degree murder.  Sentencing is set for April 30. 

Rente could get anywhere from 20 years to life in prison.
