Police Warn Against Winter Threat

As cold temperatures invade the area, many people will start their vehicles to let them warm up. At times, drivers will then go back inside their homes, while the vehicle is running and unoccupied. The Tulsa Police Department strongly advises against this.

Police say, over the past five weeks, they have seen at least five cars stolen per week. Police say the cars were stolen after someone started their car, then left it running and unattended.
