A Skiatook woman may soon be back in her home that was damaged by the December ice storm. Work began Friday on the mobile home owned by Amy Pabitzky. She's been homeless since a tree branch tore a big hole in her roof two weeks before Christmas. A Good Samaritan saw our story last month and organized a volunteer effort to get it fixed.
"They're having to build special supports inside to support the ceiling and the roof. That's what they're going to do today and next week we'll get the roof repaired. Then we'll do the inside ceiling, she ought to be back in business and back in her home," said Bill Graif, Neosource.
Graif expects it to be ready in about two weeks.
