Possible puppy mill legislation is one step closer to becoming an Oklahoma law.  State Representative Lee Denney has authored a bill called the Oklahoma Pet Quality Assurance and Protection Act.  The bill was assigned to the House Agriculture Committee to be reviewed sometime in the next three weeks.

If passed, the bill would require people who sell more than 25 dogs a year to be licensed.
