In consumer news, the federal government makes it easier for parents to know which car seats are the best to buy for their kids.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a new star system on Wednesday. In 2006, 670 kids under the age of seven, died in car accidents.
Safety advocates hope the new ratings will give parents better information to consider when purchasing car seats.
The car seats are currently undergoing testing and the ratings will then be posted on the NHTSA's website.
