A double murder trial continues Thursday afternoon in Tulsa County.  There has been unusually high security at the Tulsa County Courthouse because the trial involves rival gangs and one of the witnesses was murdered after giving damaging testimony.  Phillip Summers could get the death penalty if he's convicted.

Summers is accused of killing Shelly and Ples Vann as part of a gang war.  Tulsa Police believe the couple was targeted by one gang, because their son was in a rival gang.

The son, Lawrence Tennyson, testified that after finding his parents bodies at their home, his first thought was to get a gun to because "if anybody was still in there it was going to be them or me."  He also did not call the Tulsa Police because, "I figured I could handle my own business."

Another suspect in the case is expected to testify against Summers in exchange for a deal on a reduced charge and sentence.
