OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Two top high school guards from Texas today signed letters of intent to play women's basketball at Oklahoma.
Whitney Hand is a 6-foot-1 shooting guard from the Fort Worth area.
Jasmine Hartman is a 5-foot-10 point guard from the Houston suburb of Bellaire.
They plan to join the Sooners for the 2008-2009 season.
Whitney Hand is the daughter of former Major League Baseball pitcher Rich Hand.
She averaged 17 points, 9.4 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 5.4 steals per game last season for Argyle Liberty Christian High School.
